Sam Carter’s academic and professional background has combined education, art, science, culture industries and communities. His studies include art, design, landscape Architecture and Design History. His earliest work began as Senior Designer-Hall of Life, Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, Ontario Canada. “Hands on—“interactive” exhibition design pioneered by the “Science Centre” team resulted in exhibition design projects in many parts of the world. This significant professional experience resulted in exhibition designs and research commissions for museums, interpretative centers, special events, public art, city planning, and innovative educational projects in many parts of the world.
Over the past two decades Carter has focused much of his work on Asia and Pacific regions. As the Creative Director, Carter designed exhibitions, special events and interpretive centres including:

Carter travels as Visiting Professor Emeritus, Presenter and Creative Director/ Consultant to numerous universities, conferences and to non-profit and government organization and private sector industries while he continues teaching online.
